VIKA Jewels talk in Soho House Berlin about sustainable jewelry and fair trade production in Bali

 Beginning of November 2017 I have got invited to Soho House in Berlin to host an event about sustainable jewelry. I decided to make a little documentary movie about my sourcing and the fair trade production of my jewelry. 

For 3 days we were doing interviews and filming every little process to produce a recycled sterling silver jewel. Unfortunately the movie was stolen so after my arrival in Berlin I was talking for around 1 hour to explain what I have seen and what I actually wanted to show with my documentary. 

I don't wanna just to sell jewelry I also wanna transmit the feeling I get when I work. I want all my customers to know that the procedure of the jewelry production is based on a very friendly and family like atmosphere. 

I am interested in the origin of the products that I buy and I hope other people are the same. It's not just about shopping I think it's important as a responsible human being to know what exactly is connected to the items you buy. Was it made with tears and fears. Or is the working relationship based on happiness?

I was lucky enough to tell my story in the beautiful Soho House in Berlin.
